hi, i'm running microsoft visual studio express and have code written in vb.net. I'm using a web browser object in the code and have started getting a "failed to create activex component" error whenever I run it. I think it's caused by the way parallels references dll's. When i try adding the reference to my form it has a path that doesn't resemble the one it should be. It should be c:\windows\system32\shdocvw.dll but instead its referencing a debug folder. I'm tearing my hair out looking for a solution. I've tried removing the reference but it still doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Red, did you find out what was wrong with your application? I try to find out if Excel VBA with ActiveX would work under Win 7 on Parallels Desktop but nobody answers me, I assume because I asked before buying that product.
