I am running a virtual machine with mountain lion as guest OS on my mac. However, the video card is stuck at 3MB (Display 3MB graphics) even after I changed the corresponding Video settings of the configuration of the VM to a much higher number. Also, the resolution of my VM is at 1024x768, and I cannot find a way to increase it. Any ideas of what may be going on? or what should I do? Thanks.
Seems like Parallels Tools are not installed in the VM. Click on Virtual Machine > Install Parallels Tools.
