ive been trying for over three hours to get this working!? getting the 'this key can't be used with this version of software' still?? is this not fixed yet?

ive tried over five keys still no joy?

I am still getting the same key.

 

when i request from the site i get a email subject:

Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac Trial Activation Key.

when i order from the screen where you enter the key the email comes through as:

Parallels Desktop for Mac Trial Activation Key.

not sure if there is a major difference, but nither works!

and to make things worse ive tried downloaded Ubuntu four times!! gets to 50ish% then comes up with some error! AARGGhhhh!!!

 

can someone please email me when this is fixed thanks alot

 

Having the exact same problem here. The trial key being issued is not valid for this version of Parallels.

Just want to play around with the trial until I get my valid license file (hopefully soon).

 

Anyone in this thread - please try reordering the trial key in an hour or so. We are having temporary difficulties with trial key generator due to heavy traffic.

Doing it directly through the site worked, but using the registration dialog through the application did not work.

 

When I requested the key from Help > Activate Product, that key did not work. When I went through http://www.parallels.com/en/download/desktop/ and clicked the 'Trial Key' button, a different key came in email and that one worked. Now I have to find the $49 upgrade option because I can only get the $79 option for some reason and I have a fully licensed 2.x version.
