Version 26 Pro trial on top of Desktop 20 Standard

Hi,

I own a one time purchase version 20 standard. I'd like to test the perfomances of Autodesk Inventor Read Only on my M4 Mac.
Standard Edition lag a to, so I'd like to try the latest Pro to see if the performances are really better or not, before purchasing it.

Is it possible? How I should do? I don't want to change my license if the result are not far better, so I don't want to create problems with my existing license.

Thank you for your feedback.
You can follow the steps below for your test:
1. Backup your virtual machine (Important)

  • Open the Parallels Control Center from your Mac dock or menu bar.
  • Right-click your virtual machine and choose Show in Finder.
  • Locate the file ending in .pvm (e.g., Windows 10.pvm).
  • Copy and paste this file to an external hard drive or secure storage location.

2. Download and install Parallels Desktop 26 using the link

Activate it using the 5-day key provided (please check your inbox)

3. Perform your tests

$. If test not positive, downgrade back to Parallels Desktop 20.4.2

What it the best way to upgrade my license?
- Purchase a new Pro license (listed at 65,99€)?
- Is it possibile to purchase an upgrade to Pro (listed at 55,99€)?
If I try to upgrade the license from the app I can see only the full price (119,99€)
