Running the latest version of PD5, some of my USB devices increment now and then, for some reason. For example, my fingerprint sensor started with "Biometric Coprocessor" and is now up to "Biometric Coprocessor #7". Unfortunately, the software for the sensor no longer recognizes the incremented version as the previous one, so all my passwords have to be reentered. How can I keep the devices from incrementing? And how can I revert to a previous version, if necessary? Thank you.
