Speed Issues and Black Screens

Are you launching a VS debug session?.
It can also be triggered by using navigate in the feature editor.
If so, this was a problem introduced in Visual Studio in early October. There is now a fix available for it.
Download and install the latest VS from Microsoft.
It's not an automatic update from MS.
Even on a non Parallels machine it causes the environment to grind to a halt.
