restore time machine did not restore pvm!!!!!!

    I have just lost my pvm (Win 7 Prof) because time machine was unable to restore my VM.
    I use Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac ver 11.1.2.
    Apparently the pvm was not readable by time machine.
    There is not pvm on my time machine hard drive.
    I am very angry about this !

    Hello ChristophC,
    The pvm files will not get backed up only when the option " Do not back up your virtual machine is enabled" .
    Please refer to this article and check the particular option is enabled.

    Another possible case is that if the Windows was installed via Bootcamp it can't also be backed up by Time Machine.
