I'm running the latest version of Parallels Desktop on a Mac Monterey. I have Ubuntu 22.04 installed in one VM. When I boot Ubuntu, I always see a window in the upper right after the VM has booted that says,
    Run as root...
To start Parallels Tools Installation Agent, you must type the root password...
    Username: (my username)
    Password: (blank)
    Using (o) sudo
    ( ) su

If I enter my password as using either sudo or su, I always get this error:
    Parallels Tools Installation Agent
An error has occurred while installing Parallels Tools.
Restart the virtual machine and try again. If the problem persists, see /var/log/parallels-tools-install.log for more informtion.

I only have one account, my account, on this VM. I've tried entering my password using both sudo and su and I always get the above error. If I look at the bottom of the log file it says,
Parallels Guest Tools were installed successfully!
Please, reboot your OS to finish installation...
    <date> execCmd: ./install --install [0]
<date> Guest OS is going to reboot.

I've rebooted the VM and continue to get this error. How can I solve this problem? Thanks!

I meant to say that I see that message in the upper left part of the Ubuntu desktop.
