    Hello all,
Recently developed and issue with the fans running high speed when using Parallels Desktop/Windows 7.
In activity monitor I get the "prl_disp_service (Not Responding)" message.
    With some research I have:
    Repaired permissions in disk utility.
    Zapped PRAM and restarted.
    Quit prl_disp_service process.
Upgraded from Desktop 10 to 11 hoping upgrading would resolve the issue.
    Reinstalled Parallels Tools

    Hello RichK,
Try to uninstall your Parallels Desktop using PDremove given in this article then reinstall it and check!
