Parallels windows in second 22" monitor only gets as big as primary monitor

Hello,

I've been browsing the threads trying to make sure my question is not redundant, so I apologize if it is. I have hooked up a 22" monitor to my MacBook, and dragged parallels over to it. When I put it in fullscreen mode, windows stays the same size as it was on my laptop monitor, and the rest of the screen fills in with black. I can't for the life of me figure out how to resize the window so that it is the full 22". Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

I figured it out: I had to change the resolution of windows in parallels to those of the bigger monitor. Live and learn. Hope this helps anyone else who may have had this problem!
