This problem appears (Build 7.0.15094) when running an XP guest full screen across 2 monitors, and when the front window is positioned with the left half on the external monitor and the right half on the main monitor. In MS Excel 2003, there are some menu items that change when an auxiliary key is held down before dropping the menu. For instance, the Copy command changes to Copy Picture when the Shift key is down. With the above configuration, that doesn't happen. The menus don't change in response to aux keys unless the window is entirely on one monitor or the other, but not when split between them.
