I've been happily running Mountain Lion Developer Preview 3 as a GUEST OS on my Macbook Air for a week (the HOST OS is Lion). This morning I tried to install Preview 3 update 2 (via software update) and the update just hangs miserably forever. Software Updates as you now know will run through the App Store. If I run the App Store "normal", just to look for and install apps, it works fine. When I run the Software Update, App Store opens and then just hangs. The system does not freeze, but the App Store application becomes unresponsive and the window is white. Anyone else having this problem or is this isolated to me? Also, if you have seen this and found a way to make it work, many thinks in advance for the suggestions.
Still having this problem. Parallels, guest and host OS are all up to date on core updates. p.s. Symptoms: * screen freezes * disk activity stops * nothing more can be done, other than resetting
