Mojave VM cannot "see" external USB drive

    I created a new default Mojave VM on my iMac (Mojave).

    Now I want to import all my data and settings from a full backup.

    But the VM cannot "see" my external USB backup drive.

    How can I enable that, so I can use the Migration app to bring in my data and settings from a full backup?
