Latest update screwed my Windows 7 installation

Guys - what the hell is it with your updates. When I was on Windows XP, I had to go and find my XP installation disc every time you fixed a bug. Now I updated the software for the first time with a Windows 7 installation, and it's completely trashed it and it's asking my if I want to restore windows 7.

I've been using Parallels since version 1.x in 2006 when I switched to Mac - I've upgraded to every version (except 5) and am on 6.0.12092. I try and avoid installing patches because they ALWAYS break something. I'm not exactly running odd or old hardware either (MBP, i7, nVidia GT330M, 8GB of RAM.

Looks like I'll finally give in to bootcamp...
