Hello all,
I’m desperately trying to install and get a virtual machine running with macOS 26.6.1 on my 2019 MacBook Pro (i9, 64 GB RAM, macOS 26.6.1). I have the latest version of Parallels Desktop for Pro Edition installed.
Problem: The setup runs smoothly and normally, and as expected, “quickly.” That is, until it comes time to set up the local user. From that point on, the utilization of the assigned CPUs to the virtual machine jumps to 100%, no matter how many cores I assign to the VM or how much RAM. And the VM becomes virtually unusable. In some cases, this also causes the entire Mac itself to slow down significantly.
What can I do?
Thanks and best regards,
Daniel
