So, I've been using my Mid 2012 MBP retina, and just bought Parallels 8. I converted a windows 8 VM from VirtualBox with no issues, and tonight, I am trying to install a copy of Mountain Lion inside Parallels.

There is an option in Parallels to "Install ML using Recovery Partition". So, I started the install using that, but it fails right after I select the language, telling me that it can't connect to the Internet. My wireless is up, I even tried the t-bolt GigE adaptor. It shows the wifi in the top corner, but no Internet. I cannot get past this point. There is no network connection, so it can go no further. I've been using Virtualbox for a year or so, and I use VMware at work, so I understand bridged network connections, using the NATted connections, and setting up the proper network adapters...

Any ideas? Do I need to buy another copy of Mountain Lion and install that way, or is there another way?

Have you tried to install from CD or ISO?
