I have upgraded to Parallels Desktop 13, and I have upgraded my Mac to High Sierra.
I am trying to create a VM of High Sierra via the recovery partition, and it's just dropping to a shell prompt saying no OS exists after the initial VM is created and the Mac logo screen finishes.

    Any idea's on what's happening?

Happened to me as well. VM was corrupted and had to create a new VM per Parallels support. 3 hours later, still reloading all apps and data. Parallels is extremely buggy with High Sierra, so much so I rolled back to Sierra, until Parallels can catch up.

I was able to work around it by creating a bootable usb using the media creation app from the package contents of the install app.
Installing using the install high sierra app/image or via the recovery partition does not work for me. It used to work.
