Just in case someone else runs in that issue: when installing Google Chrome on a Parallels VM, it might not show up very well regardless which hardware settings you do for the VM. I am currently using an iMac Pro with 10 cores and Vega 64, but Chrome was not running well on the VM. The solution that worked was to disable the Hardware Acceleration inside Google Chrome ( Just search for that setting inside of Google settings ) . After that it worked very well and I was able to reduce the shared HW. This is a problem since Parallels VM10, but maybe also from Chrome side.
