Hey i got got the trial yesterday. Running Windows 8 on my partition and OS X Lion on my main. I cannot, for the life of me figure out why I cannot move files from windows to Lion. Is this a disabled feature in the trial version? Thanks for any help
The "Mac OS X Guest OS Discussion" is for running Mac OS X as a guest operating system in a virtual machine. Is Lion running as the guest or the host? Is Windows 8 running as a guest? How are you trying to move files? I'm pretty sure this is not a disabled feature in the Trial. I think the trial only limits how long you can use Parallels. I haven't tried Windows 8 yet so I don't know what parts if any of Parallels Tools works with it. If Parallels Shared Folders doesn't work, then you can use normal smb file sharing between Windows and Lion to transfer files.
