Fedora 38 will go end-of-life in 6 days, on 2024-05-21. Most importantly, that means no more security updates will be published.

Fedora 38 is still the version of Fedora that Parallels will download and set up when selecting Fedora from the VM creation dialog.

Will a supported version of Fedora (39 or 40) be offered for VM creation soon?

Are Fedora 39 or Fedora 40 supported by Parallels? I can find various bug reports on these forums, but I cannot find anything about officially supported OS versions.

Fedora 38 has reached end-of-life and no longer receives security updates.

Is it recommended to update to Fedora 39? Can we expect everything to work?
