There a few things I'm noticing with the latest update of Parallels 7. When copying data from within my Lion VM I'll randomly get an Error -36 error which means an I/O error. My hard disk seems to be fine and if I restart the copy it works fine the 2nd time around. A side effect of this error is that it causes my read / write permissions to go out the window. I lose all read write access. It comes back when I reboot the VM. If I copy things over from my regular Lion install to the VM things seem have been going smoothly. The other thing I've noticed is that copies are generally super slow with either method of copying either via the VM or via my regular Lion installation. Here's to hoping for an update that fixes this.
