I have created a Mac OS VM inside of my 14" MacBook Pro, in addition to a Windows 11 VM. I would like to encrypt the Mac OS VM, and the instructions I found say to use the settings for the VM without it running. However, when I shut down the Mac OS VM and go to settings, there are no encryption settings available. Is it not possible to encrypt a Mac OS VM?? Thanks, I'd appreciate any further assistance or an alternative method aside from encrypting a folder in the host Mac OS filesystem, in which others are administrators and theoretically could access the contents of this VM. I had no problems encrypting the Windows 11 VM with a password of my own choosing.
