So in Security there's a feature for Time Machine to not backup the VM. I had for some damn reason checked this box. No idea why I would do that. So two of my four VMs weren't backing up and sure enough and had my to replace a logic board and do a clean OS install. Then came to realize those 2 VMs weren't in my TM.

So I then go to my other backup. I use CrashPlan (which I generally love). Heres the think. It also wasn't backing up those two VMs. WTF. So does this setting prevent backing up of VMs with other backup apps/services besides TM? If so, man, you gotta change the feature/setting name because although I had a third manual back up of my main VM, I did lose one less important VM. My bad on that setting (not sure what the hell I was thinking) but my Crashplan also wasn't backing it up.

Question I have is, does that setting apply to other backup services besides Time Machine?
