running parallels 7 with XP as VM on Lion, Macbook pro. cannot copy/paste or drag between Lion and XP apps. i suspect it is because i have done a compression. is this so? any way around it without reinstalling?
copy paste suddenly doesn't work I have the same problem though I am simply trying to copy paste text and screenshots between the two OS. I am running pro 7 with lion. It was working for a while then it suddenly stopped. Any help would be great. Thanks
I've intermittently had this problem since Parallels 5. Usually uninstalling Parallels Tools, restarting Windows then letting Parallels (or using the menu to force it) reinstall Parallels Tools fixes it. On occasion a Windows update seems to remove the copy/paste ability, but this will fix it again. On occasion when I try to copy something atypical (a video or something very large) it won't work and then the Copy/Paste stops working until I restart Windows.
