Certain Games that I launch in Parallels have invisible objects and objects that flicker

Hello, I have to face problems like this whenever I play a baldi's basics game. I'm running windows 11 pro on a 2023 MacBook pro 14 inch. Is there any way that this could be fixed? Thank you. (oh and im kinda new to parallels; i started using it less than a month ago, so yeah)

Reading several Parallels Forum threads (and other sources) this appears to have been a problem dating back several years (some suggest after the upgrade from Parallels 17 to 18) ... Is there any news on a fix for this?
Adding the boot flag: video.untrimmed_dynamic_cbuffers=1 has resolved the invisible objects bug but the lighting flickering still makes the game unplayable.
Report# 478305992 sent with video of the flickering attached.

Any information or update from Parallels will be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, i've got a similar problem with the game Weird West. All the character Models The Boot-Flag didn't work.
I submitted the bug.. SupportID is 497578312

Maybe there's a solution for this? Thanks!!

Hi, I'm running into similar issues running Grim Dawn but it used to work. Some update (macOS, Parallels, Grim Dawn) broke something.
The main character is a floating head with no body and many objects like chests and barrels are invisible.
I tried the `video.untrimmed_dynamic_cbuffers=1` trick but that didn't help.

I've had a ticket open with Parallels Support for over nine months for this issue without any progress.
Some improvements can be made by following the steps described in forum posts, but the core cause of the issue remains undiagnosed. What I can confirm is that these issues were introduced in recent versions of Parallels because the same games didn't have these issues previously. I've gone back to old hardware and old versions of macOS, yet the new versions of Parallels still produce these problems. I can also confirm that Virtual Box and VM Ware Fusion do NOT cause these problems (though those two hypervisors also have inferior performance, so your mileage may vary).

Very frustrating that Parallels support seems to have done nothing to address these issues despite acknowledging (eventually) that there is a problem.
