I have a new MacBook Pro with Parallels 12. Here is what I ultimately want to accomplish, but can't seem to figure out how to do it logistically. I want a shortcut on my desktop (or ideally on the new touchbar) that I can click to open a Windows 7 VM via Parallels. Then, I want to automated workflow to open my VPN login, sign into the VPN, then launch IE, sign into the site set as my Homepage, open a separate program and enter my username and password. Is this possible? So far, I have used Automator in MacOS to create an Application trying to automate this workflow, but I keep striking out. Any ideas? Thank you!!
Seems you cannot use Automator for programming actions with Windows applications. So may be it is option for you script actions in Windows into something like a .bat-file. And then start this .bat-file from you Mac.
