Black screen when starting windows after upgrade to 20.0

    That sounds incredibly frustrating, especially when you're relying on Parallels for work! The issue with the black screen after the disk check could be related to a corrupt virtual machine file or a problem during the update process. Since you can't access Safe Mode, I would recommend trying to boot from the Windows installation media within Parallels and running a repair. Another option could be restoring the VM from a previous backup if available.

    If you haven't already, you might also want to try reaching out to Parallels support directly--they might be able to provide a more targeted fix.
