Apologise if this has been covered, but I was unable to find the answer.

I use Parallels to run windows and it works perfectly, giving me easy access to all the files located on my mac machine.

However I am also running an older version of OSX (mavericks) in parallels, but like this I can not access any files on my main mac machine. I have tried changing the sharing settings, but nothing seems to work. When I run this Mavericks OSX it seems to be completely separate from my host machine, with no interaction. Unlike the Windows version that works together seamlessly.

Any advise would be great appreciated.

    Thanks
    John

Hi JohnS21, please refer to this article to know how to access hard drive when running OS X in Parallels. You may also click on Virtual Machine menu on the top mac menu bar click on Configure -> Options -> Sharing and enable "Map Mac volumes to Windows"
