2s client of new macs hanging

We have had a lot of issues with the software freezing, hanging and not lettings users type fast enough over the past several version. Most of the systems we have are new. mac os mavericks iMacs and laptops. What should we change a=to get the program to not do this. Is this a known bug? We are running this version into a server 2008 r2 term server.
