I am a year and a half into owning a MacBookPro (still under Applecare) which I immediately installed Parallels 5 on. I have been upgrading to the new Parallels versions (and paying for them) whenever they come out. Is there some conflict between this machine and Parallels? At this point I have 8 GB or RAM in it and the only other upgrade I can see is on the Hard Drive. (Activity Monitor Logs Below) Would someone at Parallels or someone similarly competent please take a look at the attached screenshots and tell me if I have a problem with either Paralells or my HP Printer? I am finally at the point where I understand the MacOS and I understand Parallels enough to troubleshoot this but if I don't solve it I am going to smash my computer into a concrete block wall and then sell it for the materials in it... In the /past/ I have had a "prl_disp_service" lockup problem (which for some reason no one followed up with me on even though I was told I had a ticket etc.) - and now I have the Virtual Machine and Parallels totally off and I am still getting lockups. I /do/ see the prl_naptd running. Should it be running? I am studying the logs below but would someone mind telling me if they see something Parallels related? Or even Mac related? I paused my HP 8500 All in One printer at one point and I'm wondering if this is the culprit after all.
