Running '13 Macbook Pro, Sonnet Thunderbolt enclosure and Small Tree (Intel based) 10gbe optical NIC with Windows 8 VM Under Parallels Build 9.0.24229 Whats the best way to configure this VM, use a shared, bridged or host only network? Id specifically like a different Ip address for the Windows 8 VM to the host Mac, i.e bridged networking however the performance sucks possibly as a result of using a Pro1000 driver for a 10gbe card? The only drivers available appear to be VirtIO or Intel Pro/1000. Is any tuning of either Mac or Windows side network stacks required to optimise? thanks in adv
