parallels start

I have a 2019 15" MacBook Pro running Mac OS 11.0.1, and Parallels Desktop 16.1.1 and Windows 7. Sincere upgrading from Parallels 15, Parallels will refuse to start the first time. I just get a blank screen in the Parallels/Windows window. Nor error messages, no menubar, no nothin'. To recover...
