I have an external controller device that connects to my Mac via USB (USB-C to Mini-USB), however the connection is used to transmit IEEE 802.3 data frames; i.e. IP Ethernet traffic. This means I have to configure an IP address for the USB port too. I have been unable to do this, or find...
