Hi, I configured a NetBSD (x86_64) ISO as the primary boot device. But on boot, Parallels displays a generic prompt claiming that no media is inserted. Then it shows a BIOS screen that doesn't respond to arrow keys. macOS Tahoe

FYI while FreeBSD 13.4 is not "officially" supported or listed in Guest edition for Parallels, Silicon - https://kb.parallels.com/en/124223 It appears to install with no issues (at least I have yet to find any). Note: Parallels guest tools will not install (at least natively) Just FYI...

It is a shame that such great OSes are rendered virtually useless due to the lack of driver support in Parallels. I cannot imagine it would be a monumental task to create BSD ports for the relevant parts of Parallels Tools (it's POSIX, after all), and plenty of people are waiting patiently!

FreeBSD 13.1 released, I download iso from: https://download.freebsd.org/releases/amd64/amd64/ISO-IMAGES/13.1/ But Parallels can't detect OS type.

Hi there, I have tried every possible ARM ISO/VHDX from FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD website, and none seem to install on Parallels. Can someone please suggest how that can be made possible? Is it going to remain like this or there is any intention from Parallels to support? Thanks!

Hi, I have some issues with installing FreeBSD 12.1 (amd64) from the official ISO images into a Parallels VM. I tried all kinds of ISO images (dvd, cd for both x86 and amd64), but no matter which image I choose, it always stops with an error message from the boot loader. panic...
