Has anyone any experience on using LDAP (OpenLDAP or Apache Directory Studio) to authenticate RAS users ? instead of using AD (Active Directory)

Server 2019 installed perfectly on Parallels 16, but I am running into a snag when installing the AD role and features. When it gets ready to install, I get a red flag but no text explaining the reason for the error. Any ideas?
