Same thing here. I tried to install Windows 8 from a DVD drive. Workstation says "SCSI controller is not installed", then boot from DVD drive, but later Windows 8 says " Your PC ran into a problem. We're collecting some problem info....." and it loops around. I tried to re-install change BIOS...
