    Its a Video Driver issue. I reverted back to a non-WDDM driver. The Game launches and I get to the character select screen and then I get a BSOD....

    Build 5580 3D Problems

    Im having the same issue with FFXI after upgrading to 5582. I am thinking about downgrading back to 5540. Never had a issue with that build.
