Parallels 15 is not supported on Apple silicon Macs. Do you have an M1/M2/M3 Mac?
Have you shut down windows by clicking the Parallels Desktop icon in the menu bar and choose Actions > Shut Down?
If you buy Parallels 19 you can also use it to activate Parallels 18 on an older Mac. The minimum version of macOS supported is macOS Mojave 10.14.6.
