    Win XP hosted on Xandros - serial port problems.

    To use serial port in virtual machine you should go to configuration editor (Edit button on the main screen) and add "Serial" device.

    It is probably feature :) We gray the VM screan to emphasize that VM is actually paused during final compacting stage.

    Thats correct. But the primary feature of VM Compactor is optimizing virtual disk size. I would not recommend to use it for plain (fixed size)...
