Same here - killing it in Activity Monitor does the trick every time. Using MBP, 2.16, 2GB RAM.
Got it back. Under 'get info' the iso extension was still appended after the .hdd. Deleted it and all is now fine. Phheww!
DO NOT CHAGE THE .HDD EXTENSION TO .DMG OR.ISO!!! It still will not mount under OSX, but when you change the extension back to .hdd Parallels...

It works for me, using Beta 2 build 1658.30
I cannot reliably connect to printers in my workplace without DAVE. I get SAMBA errors, and sometimes NT NAME errors. DAVE seems to work well.....
Update: Re-installed DAVE (I had installed it before Parallels) and restarted, and all is now ok, except that I cannot access the share I created...
Parallels install seems to break DAVE 6.2 (as indeed did Virtual PC v7). The VPC workaround was to use Virtual Switch instead of Shared...
