Try using Finder to copy the files in ~/Library/Parallels instead of using the clone tool.

sound cut out was a well known problem in really old versions of Parallels, are you using build 1970 or higher ?

but an online windows machine with a virus can be a nasty thing for other net users.. AVG has a free antivirtus product you can use under windows....
of course.. thats much simpler... my mind always seems to want to find the most technical way of doing it :P
