the localised versions (ones bought in boxes from shops) cannot be updated to 3186 at present.
cos lots of people upgraded their BETA copies (who knows what suprious crap was left behind).... uninstall the beta, reboot, installed 3186 and...
so , in the 3186 dmg file, there is an UNINSTALL app.. run that.. uninstall 3186 then use the instalelr in the 3170 dmg to install 3170... its not...
if you'd done a search of these forums, you'd find this is a known problem. there is no work around as yet.
