icloud for windows works for me. on Win 11 Pro (VM on M1 Max Pro using Parallels 18)
killing icloud photos did the trick! thanks!!
My understanding is the Win edition should be Arm based to work in apple silicon so the answer is no. I am interested to see what others say...
yes i have the same issue. Have you found any solution?
have you tried "default adaptor bridged network" instead of "shared network"?
I see @LukasV2 posted the script here. Very good job.
If you need SQL Server Express (not Azure SQL Edge) this script can install it on a Win 11 ARM based hosted on M1 machine. I've tested it and...
this is huge. Just installed it and works. Why Microsoft officially says they don't support SQL Server on ARM based?!
just for clarification, the github page script installs SQL Express not the Azure SQL Edge?
yes you can do it. Shut down the VM, then in hardware section > hard disk > advanced > properties > and here you can decrease the hard drive size....
Doesn't M2 support nested virt? I have M1 and can't use WSL for this reason. Don't have option to test it on M2.
Microsoft SQL Server can't be installed on ARM. Azure SQL edge is an alternative but doesn't have some important capabilities like CLR.
if you are using Apple Silicon, then nested virtualization (requirement for Docker and WSL 2) is not supported yet.
