Hi David, Stop the virtual machine by clicking on Actions(from the Apple menu bar) > Stop. Quit Parallels Desktop. Open Disk Utility (Finder>Applications>Utilities) > Select the Mac hard drive > Run Fast Aid. Reboot the Mac > Try to start Parallels Desktop and Windows.
