Secure Boot Prompt - Doesn't look like BitLocker is enabled

I am getting the prompt "Suspend BitLocker to update Secure Boot certificates." I looked at knowledge base article 131133, but when I type "BitLocker," I don't see the same options as in the included screenshot. The best match, Manage BitLocker, isn't shown, and I only see the option listed under Settings: "Device encryption settings." When I go into Privacy & security > Device encryption, I only have the option to turn off Device encryption. There is a Related item where I can click BitLocker drive encryption, and it opens the Microsoft Store, but when I search, I cannot find BitLocker as an option. CleanShot 20260926Settings1602@2x.png
I don't want to change something and then make it harder to fix, or maybe it's not necessary since I don't have BitLocker enabled? But should I have enabled it?

I am using a 2021 MacBook Pro with an Apple M1 Pro Chip, macOS Tahoe 26.6.2, and Parallels Desktop 27 for Mac Pro Edition, version 27.0.1, Running Windows 11.

I have this problem, too. I have Windows 11 Home. Looking at the Microsoft Windows 11 website, the Home edition does not have Bitlocker. You need to upgrade to Pro to get Bitlocker. Which leaves those using Home edition in the lurch, since I'm not keen on paying to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro (I only use this to run one legacy program, and that infrequently).

The only option that looks vaguely similar would be to turn off device encryption. Attempting to do that gives the message:

Turning off encryption for the Windows probably won't have much security effects since my MacBook drive is encrypted, but going through a long decryption could be a nuisance.

A side-effect of not being able to complete the Secure Boot certificate updates is that I can't shutdown Windows. I have to Force Quit Parallels to shut it down.

Anyone have an opinion on turning off device encryption (with MacBook FileVault)? Even if done, will this enable Windows 11 Home to finish the "update Secure Boot certificates" task?

I'm using 2024 MacBook Pro (M4), macOS Tahoe 26.6.2, Parallels Desktop 27 for Mac Version 27.0.3 (58680) running Windows 11 Home.
