WSL2 support

Hello,
is there any timeline to add support for nested virtualization (for M3 and newer hardware) to enable WSL2 support (like in UTM for instance)?

WSL1 is obsolete and new linux guests are running into problems (currently systemd / udev etc. are failing due to lack of support for `fcntl(F_OFD_SETLKW)` in WSL1).

Nested virtualization for Windows 11 guests probably hasn’t yet been implemented in Parallels Desktop 27 because Apple hasn’t yet made it available in its frameworks for Windows guests (only for Linux); and the problem, thus, might be: will Apple ever implement it, or are they just not interested in doing it (many years have passed, now)…? Perhaps other ways could be researched, in the meantime; for example, in the Qemu/UTM world, there seems to be some progress on this (by using emulated aarch64 on aarch64):

Maybe Parallels could implement an in-house solution (as, for example, they once did on Intel with the Parallels Hypervisor), if Apple won’t enable - but let’s hope they indeed will! - nested VMs in Windows guests…? Well, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see…
