    Hi Parallels team,

I purchased a Parallels license in August 2024 (order reference number: 475517878) and activated it on my work Mac at my previous job. Unfortunately, I forgot to deactivate it before wiping that machine when I left the company.

Now I'm unable to transfer or activate my license on my new work Mac. Could someone please help me reset or release the license association so I can use it on my new computer?

    Thank you for your help!

    Bonjour,
Même problème ici. Licence achetée sur PayPal. Impossible de savoir à quel compte elle est rattachée.

Hey there, I'm in a similar situation, I forgot to deactivate my Parallels license before switching to a new Mac, and now it won't let me activate it. Would really appreciate it if the team could help reset it. Thanks a lot!

Hi, I changed my Mac and no longer have access to the old one.
When I try to activate Parallels Desktop on my new Mac, I get the message:
"This license key is already registered to a different Parallels account."

Please unlink or transfer my license key to my current account: [email protected]

Could you help me asap, please?

It looks like your Parallels license is still tied to the previous Mac, which is a common issue when a device isn't deactivated before reset. The best step is to contact Parallels support and request a license reset or transfer using your order reference number.

They can usually release the activation so you can use it on your new work Mac without any problem.
