I just bought a new MacBook Pro and running the current version of Parallels. There's software I need to use that only runs on Windows and I have it installed and running properly in Windows 11 Pro. However, this software has a network discovery tool built in but I think there's a conflict with the network settings in Parallels vs the network settings on the Apple OS side, maybe? While in Windows, if I run the CMD ipconfig, I get a 10.xxx.xxx.xxx IP address, while on the Apple OS side, it's pulling a 192.168.xxx.xxx address and I'm not sure the hardware I'm trying to discover through the Windows running software, can properly find the unit because of this. I know I can go into the Preferences of Parallels and adjust Network settings, but I want to make sure I'm not going to mess anything up. Anyone have some tips or doing something similar? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your feedback.
You may obtain a local IP address from the same 192.168.x.x range if you use the Bridged network mode.
To do this, right-click on the Windows 11 icon from the bottom dock > Configure > Hardware > Network > click on the Source drop-down menu and select Default Adapter under Bridged network.
If you are getting a 10.x.x.x IP range, your virtual machine is most probably set in Shared mode.
