No program icons are displayed on W11 ARM desktop

Hi,
I just upgraded to P26. I am using an MBP M1 with Sequoia 15.6.1. Parallels tools have been installed.
The system icons are still displayed, but all the program icons just show a black square. I did not have this issue with P19.
Here is how my desktop looks like.

Is this a known issue?
 
I have another W11 VM set to German language.
After starting the VM, and before installing the Parallels Tools, the program icons are displayed correctly.

Strangly enough, after rebooting (and rebooting several times) the icons are still displayed correctly.

This is only a test VM, the one having the problem is my production VM. I rebooted that VM several times, but the icons are not being displayed, just the black square.
 
I copied the VM (before the P26 update) from my external SSD back to the internal SSD. Started the VM, updated the Tools again, restarted the VM and now the icons show correctly.
No idea, why they did not the first time I updated to P26.
But the problem has been solved.
 
I am now on 26.0.1 and the icon issue is back, just displaying a black square instead of the icon.
It worked several times correctly after starting the VM, but after the update the problem reoccurred.

I just uploaded the technical report.

And currently the icons are displayed correctly again, but I also saw that a MS cumulative update 2025-09 was installed, plus some 2025-09 Netframe updates.
 
I was working at Fluent German Academy. It is an German Language class in Chennai. some student experimenting with the office pc and changed the language from English to German. Now we could not access the computer normally. Is there any shortcut keys to directly choose the system language from pc home page?
 
Are you only having problems because you don't know on the German system where the various settings are to change the language back to English?
If yes, here is what you would have to do:
Go to Einstellungen -> on the left choose Zeit und Sprache -> on the right use Sprache und Region, on the next screen you should see both languages, English and German. At the very top under Windows-Anzeigesprache choose English, then further down you want to change Land und Region to your country, and last change Regionales Format as well to whatever you had used before.
