mouse cursor in Parallels Desktop 20 on M4pro macbook

Running Ubuntu 24.04 in parallels desktop 20 (offy image). The thing continuously keep messing up with the mouse cursor, after a short while there are patches (squares) at the bottom -sometimes left, sometimes right- where the mouse stops working, left, right button or scrollwheel. Then it also starts to mess up with cursor coordinates within applications like firefox. Like on menus, i have to stay like 20-30 pixels below to be able to highlight and hit menu elements.
Restarting the VM not always helps, sometimes i actually have to restart the whole machine.

Whats going on? is this a known issue? how to fix?

Have you contacted Parallels support?

I tried today, but unfortunately Parallels allows me to reach out only through the community forum (like this thread), or Facebook Messenger (!!) or Twitter (!!).
I confess i feel puzzled..
